For many years I've been a fan of PBS Television. I'm particularly drawn to the various documentaries it continues to air - produced both in-house and independently. The mere fact that POV exists is a testament to the importance and popularity of independent documentary filmmaking.
A well produced doc with music as an integral part can be just as moving and engaging as any well produced dramatic film. This is something I've experienced first hand, having written and produced music for many PBS… Continue

The people you meet and the situations you get into, as well as your dreams, truly shape who you are. Being filmed in black and white gives it a clean feel that enables you to focus on the events and characters without distraction. The original music by Gaven Clark is refreshing and perfectly fits the...… Continue

There are four television shows coming to Connecticut this year, Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, Steve Wilkos, and "Deal or No Deal". Unfortunately, none of them are interested in hiring me. So when I saw an ad on craigslist inviting people to come to an open audition for "Deal or No Deal", I thought, "Yeah, maybe that's even better than working on the show". At least I could learn more about the behind-the-scenes process including how Audience Coordinators work, and how they cast for game shows l… Continue
