I think there are alot of things you are not concidering here. Like the economic crisis that we are all facing here in CT( as well as across the country) The movie industry generates millions of dollars in tax revenue and income for CT.

- I Have starred in Independant films as well as run cameras for them. Now I am in SAG , I can only work as crew for Indies. I have been in 15 Feature Films as "Background" , and 7 TV shows.
