My Story:
Beth Campbell is an actor, writer, and corporate trainer based in Connecticut. She is a member of SAG and AFTRA, and has been featured in many major films. Beth has starred in independent movies, corporate videos, and Connecticut commercials, and has been fortunate to watch some of the world’s best filmmakers at their craft, including Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Sam Mendes, Colin Mochrie, Phillip Noyce, John Cameron Mitchell, and Ann Roth.

As a playwright, Beth won the Annual Connecticut One-Act Festival twice, was a resident at the Ragdale Foundation, was published by Smith & Kraus and International Readers’ Theatre, and had a reading at La MaMa in New York. Her plays have been produced around the world by students and festivals. Beth is a member of the International Center for Women Playwrights.

In theater, Beth has appeared on Long Wharf’s Next Stage; with the equity company Cornerstone Productions; and at Mystic Seaport where she wrote and acted in interactive theater, promotional videos, and voiceovers. She has improvised with New Haven Theater Company, Off the Cuff, TeamBonding, and Marshmallow Masquers.

As a freelance writer, Beth worked for Business and Legal Reports, Bureau of Business Practice, and was published in the Wall Street Journal Career Journal. Prior to moving to Connecticut, she worked as an outplacement counselor and wrote two books on finding work in Washington, DC. With more creative writing, she has had humor pieces published in magazines, and a poem in The Lyric, a prestigious journal for traditional forms of poetry.

Beth is a freelance corporate trainer for TrainingPath, working to facilitate communication and build esprit de corps. She has worked as an outplacement counselor and workers’ compensation case manager in the Washington, DC area. She earned her master’s in rehabilitation counseling and her bachelor’s in family studies summa cum laude from West Virginia University, in her home state.

Beth, I'm really excited for you and the reading of "It Matters Where You're Buried" at LaMaMa. I wish I could be there Sunday to hear it, but I won't be getting into NYC for awhile. Let me know how it went and what your next endeavor will be. Bev

Hi Beth,
I do everything. No, I am not SAG. I am just getting back into this after a very long (about 25 year) hiatus. I agree with you - the excitment was intoxicating. Are your feet on the ground yet? : ) Lura
