The Inside Track for Screenwriting with Peter Fox

October 10 & 11, 2009

The Inside Track Workshops for Screenwriters with Peter Fox comes to The Bushnell for the first time. The workshops, which have gained national acclaim, are designed to guide the novice and intermediate screenwriter through the process of creating a working screenplay. Cinematic structure, pitching techniques, and getting the completed screenplay into the hands of film industry decision makers are included in this intensive weekend seminar. Aspiring screenwriters will explore elements of screenwriting related to plot structure, writing effective descriptions, in depth character analysis, creating an effective character arc, developing a log-line, and effective pitching techniques. This course is designed to provide a hands-on, in-depth look into the craft of screenwriting.

Appropriate for age 16+. The two-day workshop is from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each day. Breakfast pastry and coffee will be served. The workshop will be held in the Goldfarb classroom at The Bushnell.

Peter Fox began his career as a story analyst at major Hollywood studios. He founded The Inside Track Workshops and has helped hundreds of novice and experienced screenwriters develop their skills and provide them with the tools to present their work as only a true Hollywood insider can.
